Resetting the Hik Connect password for your home CCTV system
Now, getting a new phone (Huawei or iPhone if you get what we mean), means you need to log into the Hik Connect app. Well, once you selected "log in using mobile phone number". You will need to key in the phone number which was registered to the home cctv system recorder (the number you use since day 1 to register the home cctv system recorder).
Next, click "forget password"
You will be required to enter you phone number after you choose "reset by Mobile phone number"
Enter the phone number which you use to register for the home CCTV system recorder.
Click next and you will receive a one time pin on SMS.
Next enter the one time pin and you will be able to reset your password.
Log into the app and view the home cctv system!
