CCTV for homes in 2018
In the year 2018, we will be integrating the following functions for our CCTV systems. This will be in tandem with smart home systems and we are looking to offer the following:
1. Facial Recognition
Ever thought how you can filter images of people who enter your house with facial recognition? We are working on a solution that allows us to better identify and have some form of intrusion detection. CCTV systems would be more intelligent with artificial intelligence (AI) functions.
2. Push notifications
Providing a solution whereby you are notified when certain areas within the house is entered or when certain lines are crossed. This function allows owners to monitor the areas of concern (such as safe, baby's room or main gate) without having to stare at the cameras 24/7.
3. CCTV clarity
Providing higher resolution while using existing CCTV system cables (TVI) will boost the information owners get from their existing camera system. We are providing 1 Megapixel, 2 Megapixel and 4 Megapixel solutions on TVI (HD analogue CCTV camera systems) and clarity up to 8 Megapixels (4K resolutions) on IP camera CCTV systems.
4. Talkback functions and door bell function
Providing solution for door bells to have recording functions and talkback (conversation) functions to allow communication with people at home. Making CCTV not just images, but also audio communicative surveillance.
Expected roll out of full range products will be on mid 2018 for most products.
